Who Black Coffee is
Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo (born 11 March 1976), better known by his stage name Black Coffee, is a South African DJ, record producer and songwriter. His accolades include eight South African Music Awards, four DJ Awards, two Metro FM Awards and a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album. He began his career in 1994, and gained recognition for his participation in the 2004 Red Bull Music Academy a decade later. Maphumulo established the record label Soulistic Music to release his debut self-titled album Black Coffee (2005), which incorporated elements of R&B and jazz. He has since released nine studio albums.
